Description
Great easy DIYs can be done with this product. With the two accelerating compounds it starts to set in as little as 15 minutes.
There are two methods of using Rapid Set Concrete. The dry method which has a fast set time and the wet method which creates a stronger compressive strength.
Dry Method:
Containing a unique accelerator, the product can be placed around posts with water poured on top and no mixing is required. This allows for faster placement of posts.
Wet Method:
To achieve higher compressive strength, mix the concrete with water prior to placement.
PRODUCT COVERAGE
Each 20kg bag contains approximately 10 litres of concrete.
1 x 20kg Bag = 0.01m3
100 x 20kg Bags = 1.0m3
1 x 30kg Bag = 0.0151m3
67 x 30kg Bags = 1.0m3
Note: Use approximately two 20kg bags per post hole.
HOLE SIZE
Width = 2 x width or diameter of the post
(100mm x 100mm post requires a 200mm x 200mm hole)
Depth = 1/3 of the length of the post
(2m post length requires hole depth of 600mm)
